These terms cover your use of the Ctrl+Alt+Elite website. We have kept them plain and reasonable, the way we try to keep everything here.

2. Who we are

Ctrl+Alt+Elite Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, established September 8, 2023 in Wilmington, Delaware, EIN 93-3897750. Our mission is helping Black women break into cybersecurity, and allies are welcome. This site is one of the ways we do that work.

3. Use of the site

You are welcome to use this site for its intended purpose: learning about cybersecurity careers, our programs, and our community. In return, we ask that you use it fairly. Please do not:

  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content or data from the site without our written permission.
  • Try to break, overload, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.
  • Upload or submit anything unlawful, abusive, harassing, or harmful.
  • Use the site to impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with us.

4. Educational content disclaimer

The Cyber Audit, our resources, and any guidance on this site are educational and informational only. They are not professional security advice, legal advice, or career advice, and they are not a substitute for guidance from a qualified professional who knows your specific situation.

Using the site does not create any client, advisory, or professional relationship between you and Ctrl+Alt+Elite. You are responsible for the decisions you make based on what you learn here.

5. Intellectual property

The content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and the design, is owned by Ctrl+Alt+Elite Inc or used with permission, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial purposes with credit to us. Please ask first before reusing it in any other way.

Third-party names, logos, and trademarks that appear on the site belong to their respective owners, and their appearance here does not imply any endorsement.

7. Donations

Donations are processed by Stripe, and Stripe’s terms and privacy policy apply to the payment. See Stripe’s terms for details.

Ctrl+Alt+Elite Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law, and no goods or services are provided in exchange for your gift. For the details of a specific gift, you can see our donate page.

8. Disclaimers

The site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the site or its content, including any implied warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise the site will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ctrl+Alt+Elite Inc and its officers, directors, volunteers, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content. As a nonprofit offering free educational resources, this is how we are able to keep the guidance open to everyone.
