Founder
Arielle, founder of Ctrl+Alt+Elite
Arielle is a cybersecurity practitioner who has spent her career learning the field from the inside, moving through the roles, certifications, and rooms that make up a security career. She built Ctrl+Alt+Elite to share what she learned along the way.
She knows what it feels like to enter cybersecurity without a clear map. Much of what she needed early on, she had to piece together on her own. Two things can be true at once: the field is full of opportunity, and the path into it is not always easy to see. Ctrl+Alt+Elite exists to make that path visible.
Teaching has always been part of how Arielle works. She believes most of cybersecurity can be learned by anyone willing to stay curious, and that the right guidance turns a confusing field into a series of reachable steps. That belief shapes everything here.
Our mission
Ctrl+Alt+Elite's mission is to provide Black women with awareness, opportunity, support, and development to manifest a career in cybersecurity.
Our vision
Ctrl+Alt+Elite's vision is to create a world where all Black women entering cybersecurity can envision themselves as influential and respected leaders.
How we deliver on it
Four pillars, one path.
Awareness
We show what a career in cybersecurity actually looks like, from the day to day work to the many roles inside the field. When you can see it clearly, you can start to see yourself in it.
Opportunity
We open doors to the roles, networks, and rooms where careers take shape. Opportunity is easier to act on when someone points you toward it and helps you walk through.
Support
We walk alongside you with mentorship and community, so the hard moments feel less lonely. Support means having people who are glad you showed up and want you to stay.
Development
We help you build the skills and the confidence to grow into the work and keep going. Development is a steady practice, and small reachable steps add up over time.
What we stand for
The values that guide us.
Picture it, then build it
We believe seeing yourself in the work is the first step toward living it. Our mission is to help you manifest a career in cybersecurity, and that starts with picturing yourself in the role.
Real, reachable steps
We map honest paths into the field, with steps you can actually take from where you are today. No shortcuts that overpromise, just the next reachable move.
Built for Black women, first
Ctrl+Alt+Elite is built for Black women entering cybersecurity, and that focus shapes every choice we make. We design for the experience you actually have, not a generic one.
Choosing what fits
We help you tell strong opportunities from noisy ones, and choose the paths that align with your goals. Discernment keeps your energy on the moves that matter.
Skills that age well
We point you toward skills that stay valuable as the field changes, including how to work alongside new tools. The goal is a career that keeps growing, not just a first job.
Clear eyed and secure
We share how to stay safe online and read the field with a critical eye, so you can tell signal from hype. Good judgment is a security skill of its own.
Built to last
As a nonprofit, we grow at a pace we can sustain, so the support you find here is still here tomorrow. We would rather build something lasting than something loud.
